| “LAMP? LED? LASER? Which light source is best for your microscopy application?” | |||
The field of fluorescence microscopy is constantly evolving and the technology is changing at a rapid pace. This is certainly the case for light sources for fluorescence microscopy. New technologies open up new possibilities, however, existing lamp technologies still have their place for certain applications. This webinar will present an overview of the fluorescence microscope, different approaches for multi-colour imaging, different types of light sources and which applications they are best suited for. Mercury, Xenon, and metal halide lamps, LED light sources and lasers will be covered. |
